A new-build private hospital on a prominent green-field site adjacent to the main arterial route into Manchester City Centre.
New building structure comprised of 3 storey reinforced concrete frame building with additional steel frame storey at roof level providing a plant enclosure. The building had extensive curtain walling to the main elevations requiring detailed creep assessment of the supporting flat slabs. A piled foundation solution was adopted. The building ground floor was a ground bearing slab and incorporated a hydrotherapy pool treatment facility
