Bespoke off-site modular school buildings throughout the UK, delivered through the Education Funding Agency (EFA) GPS Modular Framework.
WML provided an all-through service to all projects, from feasibility stage, through surveys, contractor’s proposals, detailed design, off-site and on-site construction. WML formed part of the fully integrated design team working with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, and the modular building contractors to deliver the projects.
The common theme across all the projects was the EFA’s very ambitious delivery programmes.
Off-site construction required fully coordinated design well in advance of site construction and it was imperative to keep to tight project programmes regarding the coordination of all aspects of the project; from feasibility reports to onsite build programmes.
Projects were successfully delivered through the fully integrated design team, including BIM collaboration.
